InterCommunity 2017 Celebration @ Delhi, India
Delhi Chapter hosted the InterCommunity 2017 event at Vivanta Taj Hotel, on 19 September which was attended by nearly 100 community members, chapter leaders from across the country and representatives from the APAC staff Rajnesh Singh and Subhashish Panigrahi.
Apart from the celebrations, there was a round table discussion on Digital Divide. The panelists for the discussion were Japleen Pasricha, FII; T Santosh, MeitY and Osama Manzar, DEF and the discussion was moderated by ISOC Delhi Treasurer Amrita Choudhury.
ISOC-GCCS Interaction
An ISOC –GCCS Interactive meeting was held on 19th September at New Delhi. The GCCS team was lead by Ms. Tulika Pandey, MeitY, Government of India, while the ISOC team was lead by Rajnesh Singh, Regional Director APAC. It was attended by the Chapter leaders from all the Chapters and Vineet Kumar from Cyber Peace Foundation. The discussion during the meeting focused on learning more about the GCCS event and discussing areas of engagement for the Internet Society.
